About
HNELHD required temporary residential accommodation for visiting medical staff across several hospitals, supporting continued access to quality health care in regional and remote areas.
The project had a range of constraints, including the preservation of heritage-listed sites, areas of Aboriginal cultural heritage importance and mine subsidence considerations.
NSW Public Works prepared a REF that addressed the heritage constraints and worked with our internal archaeologist and heritage specialists to address these issues. Effective mitigation measures were developed, allowing construction to proceed.
