Land acquisition and property services
NSW Public Works, through its Land Acquisition and Property team, provides acquisition and property services on water supply, sewerage, transport and building projects. The Land Acquisition and Property team coordinates legal access to project sites through licensing and facilitates all aspects of land and easement acquisitions under the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991.
We provide advice on land tenure, Native Title and Aboriginal Land Claim processes and the effect on projects and approvals. We provide advice to clients on the likely time and cost implications of acquisition processes and legislation on their infrastructure projects.
