Services provided: Plan, source and manage construction, and capital works Following significant bushfire damage, Public Works managed the procurement and project delivery for the replacement of bridges at seven sites in the East Boyd State Forest and three sites in the Yadboro and Currowan State Forests. This included early investigations, design management, contractor engagement and handover. Using multiple contracts for the Bridge Replacement Program allowed for a staged program of work, flexibility in contract types for each work package and allowed better cashflow and budget management. The program delivered cost savings, improved efficiencies, and ensured probity throughout delivery.
