NSWPW conducted a comprehensive peer review of flood-related documents for a development application at 30 Golding Street, Yamba.

Key deliverables included:

• Flood Impact and Risk Assessment (FIRA): assessed pre and post-development flood scenarios to ensure compliance with updated data and best practice guidelines.
• Stormwater management plan: evaluated the adequacy of proposed stormwater infrastructure, including detention tanks and bioretention basins, to manage runoff effectively.
• Flood evacuation plan: reviewed the proposed evacuation strategy to ensure it addressed flood risk and community safety requirements.
