Skilled and experienced acquisition managers oversee land and easement acquisition negotiations for the Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation, supporting progress on the Parkes Special Activation Precinct.

Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation (RGDC), a State Government Agency within Department of Regional New South Wales, engaged NSW Public Works to facilitate the acquisition of private and government owned land to deliver the Parkes Special Activation Precinct. The precinct offers investment and business development opportunities for new and existing industries.

The Land Acquisition and Property Services Team worked closely with RGDC to arrange early access to multiple land holdings to facilitate the design investigations, lead Land and Easement Acquisition Services by agreement and compulsory process in accordance with the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991, and assisted RGDC in creating a land acquisition spatial layer within the internal GIS system as well as completing the negotiation and administrative acquisition process from start to finish.
