NSW Public Works delivered a dynamic fit out for the Workers Compensation Commission (WCC) at Level 21, 1 Oxford Street, Sydney.  The team provided project  management  services inclusive of design management, consultant management, contract management and the procurement of all consultants and contractors necessary to deliver the project.

The project demonstrates how design can successfully reinvigorate a space.  The delivery of the project met the requirements of WCC who gained efficient circulation and separation between arbitrators and the general public through the use of an external corridor.  High end acoustics catered  for the business need where the focus on meeting and conference rooms was to enable good quality recordings without any interruption.

The contemporary and functional work environment achieved the aim to attract staff and lead to improved work practices.  NSW Public Works staff have the experience, skills and knowledge to manage all phases of projects.  This experience allowed the staged fit-out of the Oxford Street site to be achieved with minimal operational impacts or downtime and delivered effective workspaces that exceeded the expectations of the end-users. Services for the project  included Project Management, including Scope Definition, Management of Design, Construction and Project Risk.
